A new sitcom starring Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx is on the way to Netflix. ‘Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!’, inspired by Foxx’s real-life relationship with daughter Corinne Foxx, will premiere on Netflix on 14th April, 2021.
‘Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!’ on Netflix will follow the story of Brian (Jamie), the owner of a cosmetic company and single father to Sasha (Kyla-Drew). The show will highlight how a father tries his best to understand and be there for her teenage daughter, willing to go to extreme lengths at times.
The first look of ‘Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!’ shared by Netflix gives a glimpse of the fun the show has to offer with an incredible cast and a relatable story filled with laughter.

Foxx is joined by Kyla-Drew (‘The Good Doctor’, ‘Jessie’) , David Alan Grier (‘A Soldier’s Play’, ‘Sprinter’), Porscha Coleman (‘The Parkers’) & Heather Hemmens (‘Hellcats’, ‘If Loving You Is Wrong’) in the ensemble cast of ‘Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!’
Jamie Foxx alongside starring in the multi-camera series has also created and executive produced it. Corinne Foxx also serves as executive producer for Netflix’s ‘Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!’
‘Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!’ will premiere on Netflix globally on 14th April, 2021.
