The film brings in a larger-than-life portrayal of Texas’ famous Von Erich brothers, who embarked the history of professional wrestling in the early 1980s. Although ‘The Iron Claw’ depicts a tough sport, the movie manages to pull our heartstrings with its grippling emotions.
Premiering at the Texas Theatre in Dallas on November 8, 2023, the movie had a U.S. release by A24 on December 22, 2023, followed by its United Kingdom release by Lionsgate on February 9, 2024, same as the release date in India.
