Cowboy Bebop was released on Netflix today. It is the remake of a very popular Japanese anime based on bounty hunters. The original series started back in 1998 and continues to remain one of the most popular and influential anime series of all time. The Anime audience community is still not over this Epic series that has been there for over two decades now.
We have realised that American filmmakers are getting more and more interested in remaking famous movies and series from the rest of the world. The remake announcement of “Train to Busan” as “Last Train to New York” is just another example.
When the news about American filmmakers remaking this legendary Japanese anime series came, then the reactions were mixed. And when this series came out, the reviews are not looking great. The fans of the original series are very sure that the film adaptation is not going to be half as impactful as the original.
The film casts John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, Daniella Pineda, Elena Satine, and Alex Hassell.
The series consists of 10 episodes. The cast is the only factor that is receiving praises but the overall storyline, narrative, special effects, the direction is attracting nothing but criticism.
This series is set in the year 2071 where Bounty Hunters hunt for criminals all across the solar system in a spaceship that is called “Bebop”.
