After wowing viewers with his stellar action skills in ‘Sanak’ and ‘Khuda Haafiz 2’, hunky actor Vidyut Jammwal’s is set to up the ante with his next film, ‘Crakk: Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa‘. The film is set in the hard-hitting world of ‘extreme sports’, a first for the Indian film industry. No other film in Indian cinema has featured extreme sports as the centrepiece of the narrative.
The title of the film itself hints at the dangerous world that ‘Crakk: Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa’ is set in. ‘Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa’ translates to ‘If he wins, he lives’, which literally means that the stakes of losing in the extreme sport is death. Phew, sounds like edge of the seat stuff.
‘Crakk’ also stars Arjun Rampal in a parallel role. Jacqueline Fernandez completes the trio of actors starring in ‘Crakk: Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa’. The film will see Vidyut Jammwal reuniting with his ‘Commando 3’ director, Aditya Datt. The rest of the cast and crew of ‘Crakk’ hasn’t been revealed yet.
The lead stars of the film tweeted about the film this morning, revealing the fact that ‘Crakk’ has kicked off shooting in Poland. The film centres on a man from the slums of Mumbai who finds himself smack in the middle of the perilous world of underground extreme sports, where losing means certain death. ‘Crakk’ is slated to release in 2023.
‘Crakk’ is presented by Reliance Entertainment, and produced by Vidyut Jammwal’s Action Hero Films and Parag Sanghvi’s PZ Pictures. Adi Sharmaa and Aditya Chowksey are co-producers on ‘Crakk’.
