The trailer of the upcoming Prime Video series Crash Course is out. We all know that Prime Video is known for the ground-to-earth content which appeals to the masses.
They are again coming up with a similar concept which will certainly relate to the young students studying in 11th and 12th. But look at the irony, the show is meant for the adult audience.
It stars veteran actor Annu Kapoor in the lead role. Apart from him, it has a huge cast that includes Bhanu Uday, Udit Arora, Pranay Pachauri, Bidita Bag Mohit Solanki, Hridhu Haroon, Anushka Kaushik, Riddhi Kumar, Bhavesh Balchandani, Aryan Singh, Hetal Gada and Anvesha Vij.
The concept of the show is similar or let’s say a cocktail of Kota Factory, Hostel Daze, and various coming-of-age titles.
But the main plot was more or less explored in the Kota Factory itself. The top tier of coaching mafia treats students as mere rank generators and never humans. All they care about is their personal benefit generated through ranks, marks, and marketing.
This brutal take on the concerning matter needs a lot more attention than there is amongst the general mass. This endeavor by Prime Video certainly deserves appreciation.
Regardless, it is not just the mafia but also students who always find a way to survive on their terms. The trailer is filled with multiple clichés and yet excites us about the series.
Crash Course will be released on Prime Video on August 5th.
