Streaming platform Disney Plus Hotstar has got social media followers in a tizzy with its wacky updates since this morning. Almost all its today’s social media posts are about “Crime Master Gogo”. Remember him? The iconic though adorable villain from the cult comedy, “Andaz Apna Apna” played by none other than yesteryears villain, Shakti Kapoor!
It all started with a few innocuous-looking tweets from the streaming giant that made random references to Crime Master Gogo. Apparently, Gogo is stealing words from Disney Plus Hotstar’s tweets.

The tweets soon gave way to several ultra-short videos, featuring —you guessed it—Gogo, aka Shakti Kapoor, himself. The videos are accompanied by the hashtag #GogoIsBack, along with the tagline, “aaye hain toh kucch lekar hi jayenge”.
The videos show Gogo carry out petty thefts – of a pen in one, a mobile phone in another, and even daughter Shraddha Kapoor’s nail paint, in the most recent video.

All the hype and promos teasing us with “Gogo Is Back” have made us super curious to know what is the meaning behind it all. Does Disney Plus Hotstar have a new show coming up, a spinoff on Crime Master Gogo from Andaz Apna Apna? Or is it a promotional campaign for some other show or movie premiering soon on Disney Plus Hotstar?
There is no word from the streaming platform regarding the above. So your guess is as good as ours. All we can do is wait and watch to know what is on the radar at Disney Plus Hotstar.
