Veteran Director of malayalam cinema, Lal Jose returned to celluloid this year with a crime thriller ‘Solamante Theneechakal‘ after a string of badly received films. The film released at the movies on 18th August and its digital rights were acquired by Manorama Max. The film was recieved with mixed to positive reviews. The critics appreciated the twists in the film and even regards it as one of the better films from the ace director in a while.
The film follows two young police women Suja and Glyna. Their friendship gets tested when Suja’s boyfriend Sharath gets trapped in a crime. Will their friendship last as the murder mystery gets unveiled or what is in store for the two of them forms the plot of Solamante Theneechakal.
Directed by Lal Jose and written by P. G. Prageesh, Solamante Theneechakal is produced by Lal Jose through the production house LJ films. The film stars Joju George, Vincy Aloshious and debutants Darshana S. Nair, Shambhu Menon and Addis Antony Akkara in lead roles. Vidyasagar composed the film’s music, and the cinematography was handled by Ajmal Sabu. The film will stream on Manorama Max from 1st October, 2022. Stay tuned for more updates.
