Binged has clarified it so many times but we must do it again for the sake of it. “Curry & Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case” is a great documentary and last week we projected that more success is awaiting the film. Well, it has come out to be true and “Curry & Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case” actually earned great views. Firstly, it is a very low-magnitude film and thus did not need very high views. But, the way it has been performing is really appreciable. In fact, it has done something really fantastic and it is something no one could have imagined before the release of the documentary.
Imagine a film having stars like Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. Well, you don’t have to imagine as it is precisely the cast of Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. Although not very big, has all the noticeable faces which the audience (at least the Netflix watching audience) recognises. Well, “Curry & Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case” has outdone Kho Gaye Hum Kahan even though the latter received positive reviews.
Yes, we do realise that Kho Gaye Hum Kahan was in its debut week but it recorded a 5 day view instead of the usual 3. Regardless, “Curry & Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case” is something that has proved to be both commercial and critical success for Netflix. They need to do that more often.
