Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Series To Arrive On Netflix

Netflix will be the new home for the upcoming sports docuseries based on Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. The show, titled “America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders”, will be seven episodes long, with an average runtime of 45 minutes. The docuseries is all set to premiere on Netflix this summer. It has yet to receive a fixed release window from the streaming giant.

The forthcoming Netflix series comes after the culmination of CMT’s reality series, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team. Produced by Triage Entertainment, ‘Making the Team’ ran for 16 seasons and had a total of 140 episodes. Its finale aired in November 2021.

Grey Whiteley has helmed the latest Netflix sports docuseries. He also serves as one of the series’ executive producers. Whiteley is best known for his work on Last Chance U and Cheer.

The series will cover the 2023-24 season of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders squad and their entire journey from start to finish. It means the viewers will get to witness their auditions and training sessions, continuing all the way through the NFL (The National Football League) season.

America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is produced by Boardwalk Pictures, One Potato Productions, and Campfire Studios. In addition, to Whiteley, Adam Leibowitz, Dane Lillegard, Andrew Fried, Ross M. Dinerstein, and Rebecca Evans have also executively produced the series. Stay tuned for more updates.
