Daredevil Actor Teases Return Of One-Shot Fight Sequences In ‘Born Again’

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Disney+ series will, too, have one-shot fight sequences, like its predecessor (2015-18), confirmed by the leading man, Charlie Cox. Fans should expect the Devil of the Hell’s Kitchen to take down multiple assassins or goons in one-shot takes in the upcoming Disney+ series.

During his recent appearance at Fan Expo (Boston), Cox talked about ‘Born Again’ in detail. He also guaranteed that fans would witness multiple “oners” in the show. This is what he said:

“Those fans who are excited by [oners] will not be disappointed.”

The one-shot fight sequences are now considered a staple for the live-action Daredevil series, which ran from 2015 to 2018. Now, the return of these “oners” will certainly spice up our watching experience of ‘Born Again.’ This tradition began in Season 1 with the iconic “Hallway fight scene,” followed by the Season 2 “stairwell fight scene,” and culminated with the epic prison brawl in Season 3 where Matt Murdock, the Man Without Fear, battled his way through prison.

Plot details for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ are under wraps. However, online rumors suggest the Disney+ series might take inspiration from the classic ‘Born Again’ storyline from the comics, which features Wilson Fisk as Mayor of New York City. The ending of the Echo Disney+ series could have laid the foundation for Born Again. This would be a shocking turn of events, with Fisk potentially manipulating Daredevil’s abilities and fighting skills to take out costumed vigilantes for good.

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is set to premiere on Disney+ in March 2025. Stay tuned for more updates.
