Daredevil: Born Again will mark the MCU debut of Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, confirmed by the newly leaked video from Born Again’s sets. The majority of the cast is busy filming the series. On the other hand, many were wondering whether Bernthal’s Frank Castle is part of the series. However, the latest video from the show’s sets has cleared our doubts.
In a newly leaked video from @PunisherFanatic, we can see Jon Bernthal’s Punisher shooting a costumed character, who is believed to be White Tiger. We can see Castle sneaking around the corner and killing the character. We cannot hear anything in the video as there is no audio. After shooting White Tiger, Frank casually leaves the scene as if nothing happened.

Marvel Studios is yet to confirm if the newly costumed character is indeed White Tiger. The scene is confusing as White Tiger is a popular superhero in the comics. And if White Tiger is officially a part of Daredevil: Born Again, then what version of the character will the audience see in the show?
Many characters have held the mantle of White Tiger in the comics. We could get Hector Ayala’s White Tiger in the upcoming Disney+ series, as he was the first in his family to hold the mantle. The character is Marvel’s first-ever Hispanic superhero. Or we could get Ava Ayala, Hector’s sister and the fifth incarnation of the character. It is all very confusing as White Tiger is normally a good character in the comics.
Daredevil: Born Again could set up clashes among different vigilantes in New York. The show’s plot details are under wraps, so we do not know the exact reason behind the rivalry between White Tiger and The Punisher.
But we also know that the dead ones are not necessarily dead in the MCU. It is possible that White Tiger could return in future MCU projects. Only time will tell us.
Daredevil: Born Again will premiere in 2025 on the Disney+ streaming platform. Stay tuned for more updates.
