‘Aavasavyuham‘ director Krishand’s next film’s first-look posters have been released. To make things more interesting, the movie will be starring Darshana Rajendran who is having a great year in 2022 with two blockbusters.
Titled ‘Purusha Pretham The Male Ghost’, Krishand will also be taking over as cinematographer for the film. The combination has certainly intrigued the audience to no end since Drashana and Krishand were two standout talents of 2022 from Malayalam cinema.
While Darshana had appeared alongside Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan in ‘Hridayam’, it was her performance as the protagonist opposite Basil Joseph in the comedy-drama ‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey’ that forced everyone to take note of what a bundle of immense talent she is. Similarly, one of the most acclaimed films of the year was Krishand’s directorial ‘Aavasavyuham: The Arbit Documentation of An Amphibian Hunt’, which he also wrote.
With a screenplay by Ajith Haridas and a story by Manu Thodupuzha, ‘Purusha Pretham The Male Ghost’ also stars veteran actor Jagadish. The actor has given us strong performances this year in films like Mammootty’s ‘Rorshach’ and Prithviraj’s ‘Kaapa’, the latter of which is currently in theatres. Reportedly, Maala Parvathi and Geethi Sangeetha of ‘Churuli’ fame have also been cast in prominent roles as a lawyer and judge respectively.
Presented by Jeo Baby of ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’ and ‘Freedom Fight’, the movie is being jointly produced by Jomon Jacob and Dijo Augustine of Mankind Cinemas, Einstin Zac Paul under Einstin Media Pvt Ltd, Vishnu Rajan and Sajin S Raj under Symmetry Cinemas and Prasanth Alexander.
