Prior to the release of its trailer, the makers of ‘Dasvi’ have unveiled new character posters of the upcoming social comedy drama. Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur, ‘Dasvi’ is set to release on Netflix and Jio Cinema simultaneously on 7th April, 2022.
The first poster is that of Yami Gautam who plays the role of IPS officer Jyoti Deswal in ‘Dasvi’. She is described as a strict officer and her firm posture and look in the poster displays the same. Sharing the poster on social media Yami Gautam wrote, “Power, position ya makkhan lagane se naa pighalti ye sakht chhori. Miliye Jyoti Deswal se #Dasvi trailer mein. #DasviTrailer out tomorrow at 11 am!”
Next up is Nimrat Kaur who will be seen as Bimla Devi Chaudhary, wife of Ganga Ram Chaudhary and Chief Minister of the state. The poster shows Nimrat as Bimla Devi sitting on the CM’s chair with a drooping face. Nimrat launched the poster on her social media and wrote, “Mhare pe politics ki power ghani suit kare hain!
#DasviTrailer out tomorrow at 11 am. #Dasvi”
Last but not the least is Abhishek Bachchan’s lead character Ganga Ram Chaudhary’s green turban clad look while standing outside a police van. Releasing the poster on Twitter Abhishek Bachchan wrote, “Chaudhrahat ki pagdi apni shaan hai, Ganga Ram Chaudhary humara naam hai.
Kal aa rahe hain aap sab se milne trailer ke saath. #DasviTrailer out tomorrow at 11 am! #Dasvi”
Helmed by Tushar Jalota, other than the above three ‘Dasvi’ also stars Manu Rishi Chadha and Arun Kushwah among others. It is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Shobhna Yadav and Sandeep Leyzell. Ritesh Shah, Suresh Nair and Sandeep Leyzell have written the film with a story from Ram Bajpai. The composer duo Sachin-Jigar have composed the music for ‘Dasvi’.
