David Ayer is set to direct a new movie ‘Levon’s Trade’ with Jason Statham and actors like Michael Peña, David Harbour, Jason Flemyng, Arianna Rivas Noemi Gonzalez, Emmett Scanlan, Eve Mauro, Maximilian Osinski and Kristina Poli have also joined the cast. The movie will be an adaptation of the novel of the same name by author Chuck Dixon. The screenplay is written by Sylvester Stallone.
Amazon MGM Studios has secured the theatrical rights for the movie and the post theatrical rights are with Amazon Prime Video.
Stallone has previously directed multiple movies including from the Rambo series, The Expendables etc. His screenwriting and acting in the first ‘Rambo’ movie shot him to fame. The movie got many awards including two Oscar wins.
David Ayer has previously directed movie like ‘The Beekeeper’, ‘Suicide Squad’, ‘The Fast and the Furious’, ‘Fury’ and many others. It will be good to see what he makes out when he gets a screenplay from Sylvester Stallone.
David Ayer is great with action movies and we are getting a script from Stallone after a long time. The movie will tell the story of Levon Cade, an anti-terrorism agent who wants to leave his profession behind and live a peaceful life. But when a local girl from his neighbourhood gets kidnapped, he is compelled to go back to his instincts and try to find the girl. Let us see what they cook.
