David Fincher’s last movie with Netflix “Mank” has been a great hit and has been critically acclaimed all over. Now David Fincher is back again with the streaming giant to direct his next feature film, “The Killer”, inspired by the graphic novel of the same name by Alexis Nolent. David Fincher with his last hit and his upcoming feature film has nothing but praise for the streaming service.
Fincher’s upcoming movie tells the story of a cold blooded assassin that starts developing a conscience that ultimately causes him to emotionally break down and ponder upon the evil deeds he has been doing all along. Michael Fassbender has been in talks with the team to portray this deep and emotional character of the killer. Though nothing has been confirmed as of yet, as both Michael Fassbender and his team, along with the makers from Netflix hasn’t released any official information.
David Fincher will be partnering with his long time friend Andrew Kevin Walker, who earlier collaborated with him on “Se7en”, “Fight Club” and “The Game” and will be writing the script for the movie. The movie is being produced by Cean Chaffin. David Fincher signed a four year deal with Netflix last November to bring more content to the streaming service. Before Mank and The Killer, Fincher has worked with Netflix’s hit show “Mindhunter”

Starting from Golden Globes Awards to SAG Awards to Critics Choice Awards, Mank has been able to grace almost all the major awards programs. Along with it, it is being heavily predicted that it might do well in Oscars too.
