Day Shift : Jamie Foxx Turns Vampire Hunter In Netflix’s Vampire Comedy!

Jamie Foxx is returning to Netflix after his action fantasy film titled Project Power which also starred Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The movie released earlier this year on Netflix and had the audience on it’s grasp for more than a month.

Now Foxx will be seen in the Vampire Comedy for Netflix which has been titled ‘Day Shift’ and will be directed by JJ Perry who with this will be making his directorial debut. The movie has been written by Tyler Tice with several revisions by Shay Hatten.

Day Shift will be featuring Foxx as a blue-collar father who wants nothing more in this world than to give her 8 year old daughter a good and satisfactory life. He tries hard to make her happy. But he hides a secret from his family and society. His job as a pool cleaner in San Fernando Valley is just a cover for his actual source of income which is to hunt and kill Vampires.

Foxx will be serving as one of the executive producers of the film along with Datari Turner and Peter Baxter. While Chad Stahelski along with Jason Spitz will be seen as the main producers of the movie through their banner 87Eleven Entertainment.

Jamie Foxx will be seen in several upcoming projects for Netflix with “They Cloned Tyrone” where he will be starring as well as executive producing. Another series is on the pipeline titled “Dad Stop Embarrassing Me”.

With Day Shift, Netflix is going hard on their fascination with Vampires as they recently released Vampires vs The Bronx which has garnered positive reviews.
