At DC Studios, a live-action Teen Titans film is currently under production. Ana Nogueira, who was hired by the studio to create Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, is slated to pen the script The film’s logline and producer have not yet been revealed the project does not yet have a director.
The Teen Titans are a group of young superheroes who were first featured in The Brave and the Bold #54 in 1964 They combat crime and battle different villains together while juggling the difficulties of puberty and their relationships with one another. The squad is usually led by Batman’s sidekick Robin and consists of characters like Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven, Starfire, and so on.
The comics were previously turned into an animated series called Teen Titans for Cartoon Network/Kids’ WB. The show ran from 2003 to 2006 and gave rise to the spin-off film Teen Titans Trouble in Tokyo. The animated series Teen Titans Go! and its theatrical follow-up Teen Titans Go! To the Movies are more well-known on Cartoon Network.
Nogueira originally gained notoriety as an actor with performances on television shows including The Vampire Diaries on The CW and Hightown on Starz. She was announced as the scriptwriter for the Supergirl movie last November. The Hollywood Reporter broke the initial news about the upcoming Teen Titans film.
