Dead Pixels Trailer: Telugu Show Explores Gamers And Their Passion

The official trailer for the new Telugu show ‘Dead Pixels’ is out now. It will be streaming from the 19th of May on Disney+Hotstar. The show has actors like Niharika Konidela, Harsha Chemudu, and Sai Ronak and it will be having six episodes. It is written by Akshay Poolla and directed by Aditya Mandala. The music is composed by Siddharth Sadasivuni.

The trailer is simple and good and gives an idea of what Dead Pixels is all about. The show tells the story of some friends who are in different jobs in the software industry and are bound together by one common passion, the passion for video games. They play a game where they are able to live a virtual life and they live that life as seriously as the real one. Gayatri, one of the friends, has a crush on a newcomer who is very good looking and she tries to get into a relationship with her. But soon she gets to know that the guy is utterly useless in the game and she does not really love him; rather, she develops feelings for one of the members of the gamers team.

Dead Pixels is the official remake of the British sitcom of the same name. It was created by filmmaker Jon Brown and starred actors like Alexa Davies, Will Merrick, Sargon Yelda, Charlotte Ritchie and David Mumeni. The original series told the story of three friends Meg, Nicky and Usman who are obsessed with a video game named Kingdom Scrolls. There is a certain number of audiences who like these kinds of shows, so adapting Dead Pixels in Telugu might be a very good decision.

A very short teaser for the show had been released a few days back and it gave us a glimpse of what the show might be like. Dead Pixels somehow criticizes the overwhelming addiction to video games and comments on how it can affect the interactions and relations and how we ignore our families for this. The show also goes to a depth of the mindset of gamers. Dead Pixels will be available to watch on Disney+Hotstar from 19th May onwards.
