Deadpool 3: Does Taylor Swift Have A Cameo In Shawn Levy’s Flick?

The name of Taylor Swift is enough to set social media platforms and the internet on fire these days. Her concert movie, The Eras Tour, has performed exceptionally well, earning over $180 million globally so far, thanks to ‘Swifties’. Now, her name is being attached to Deadpool 3. Many believe that the country singer turned pop superstar may have a cameo in the upcoming Shawn Levy directional.

Levy recently addressed Swift’s rumoured cameo in Deadpool 3 in Josh Horowitz’s ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast. Horowitz asked the director if Swift had a role in the upcoming Deadpool entry. Levy did not deny the rumours. “Um, it sure escapes the lips of social media every day, and that’s all I’m gonna say.”

Fans have theorized that Taylor Swift may play Dazzler in her cameo role in Deadpool 3. This is what Levy said about this scenario: “Sounds like a great idea… I feel like, ‘oh wow, I went to a football game a couple of weeks ago, and I had a really good time with friends, and I am thrilled to be talking about other things.'”

The Taylor Swift casting rumours in the forthcoming Deadpool entry picked up heat in August. Nearly two months have passed, yet fans are fueling this rumour with all their hearts. Well, we believe you all should know who Dazzler is in the world of Marvel Comics at this point, right?

Debuting in 1930 through the ‘Uncanny X-Men’ comic book series, Dazzler is a mutant with the ability to transform sound vibrations into energy and light beams. Apart from being one of the most powerful female characters in Marvel Comics, she is also considered a true LGBT icon.

Now, here’s where everything gets interesting! Do you know that Dazzler has already made her live-action debut? The character’s live-action version first appeared in Dark Phoenix (2019), played by Halston Sage. Bringing in Swift to play Dazzler may result in the MCU completely ignoring Sage’s version of the character in Deadpool 3. Stay tuned for more updates.
