Deadpool 3 May Mark Kidpool’s MCU Debut, Stars Ryan Reynolds

Rumours about Kidpool joining the MCU are running wild on social media. Several reports have disclosed that the character may appear in Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3.

The film’s plot is under wraps right now. But we know it will revolve around Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, and James “Logan” Howlett, aka Wolverine, who will team up to take down a common adversary. The duo will also travel through the Multiverse in the upcoming MCU project.

Returning to Kidpool, the character was born on Earth 10330 (an alternate future reality) as Wade Wilson. He gets accepted into the Xavier Orphanage for Troubled Boys in his teenage years. He is known to suffer from “conduct disorder”, which makes it difficult for him to strictly adhere to rules or regulations and behave in a socially acceptable manner.

In the comics, Deadpool encounters Kidpool to save the Multiverse from destruction. The latter character will be an intriguing addition to Deadpool 3 as he serves as a parody version of the protagonist, and his introduction will add a comedic and playful dimension to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Like Deadpool, Kidpool is also prominent for frequently breaking the fourth wall, allowing him to interact directly with audiences or comic book readers. And his childlike innocence makes things even better.

Helmed by Shawn Levy, Deadpool 3 stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Garner, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, and more. It is expected to arrive in theatres worldwide on May 3, 2024. Stay tuned for more updates.
