Deadpool Director To Move Ahead With Upcoming Avengers Film

Avengers 4 was one of the best fan-pleasing films of all time, and we can’t talk enough about its box-office success. But the show went on as the team disassembled, and the Avengers are looking for new faces. This change won’t just be limited to the on-screen roles.

Things are shifting behind the camera as well.

So far, the Avengers films have had three directors in total. Joss Whedon directed the first two films, while the Russo brothers directed Infinity War and Endgame. However, as Marvel is determined to make the fifth and sixth installments of Avengers, they are looking for new faces.

Shawn Levy might be the man for the job. He is already working on Deadpool 3, one of the most hyped projects of the MCU. Especially as it has the potential to change the direction of the MCU once and for all, Levy has a command over his craft.

Plus, he has worked on projects such as Free Guy and The Adam Project, giving him the experience of handling big projects. Besides these, Levy has a very prominent style as a director with mass appeal. He also has a witty touch without making it cringey, addressing a major complaint from Marvel fans.

Though it is said that Marvel will also talk with other directors, Levy is the primary choice. There was also a meeting between Jordan Peele and Marvel. Will Peele have the opportunity to direct one of the biggest films in the industry? Only time will tell.
