The official teaser of Deadpool & Wolverine shattered several records upon its arrival. The one that stood out the most was it becoming the most-watched movie trailer/teaser of all time within 24 hours with more than 365 million views. This record was previously held by Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. Now, the new trailer of Deadpool & Wolverine has broken a unique record that may surprise you.
The newest trailer of Deadpool & Wolverine has more cuss words than the entire MCU combined, as per a report from LAD BIBLE. The clip has one s**t, one d**k, and six f**ks. It even has an extended cocaine joke that also mentions Kevin Feige. This scenario shows that the latest two-minute and 38-second-long trailer contains more swearing than the combined total of swear words in all 33 previous MCU films.
As one of the subsidiaries of Disney, Marvel has no choice but to surrender in front of the conglomerate’s influence over the MCU’s PG-13 rating. Disney possesses the power to veto or greenlight projects based on different aspects, including the target audience. The production house has adhered strictly to the PG-13 formula for many years, reaping substantial financial profits.
Given Deadpool & Wolverine’s R-rated category, the upcoming Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds starrer will drop more swear words upon its theatrical release. It will arrive in theatres worldwide on July 26, 2024. Stay tuned for more updates. Check out the trailer below!
