Deadpool & Wolverine: Will Hulk Appear In This Ryan Reynolds Starrer?

We may see Mark Ruffalo reprise his role as the Hulk in Deadpool & Wolverine, which hits theaters worldwide on July 26th. This upcoming Ryan Reynolds film is one of the biggest movie releases in recent years, and notably the only Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie coming out this year.

Fans are expecting to witness plenty of cameo appearances of popular Marvel characters in Deadpool & Wolverine. Still, they are actively putting in efforts to find out some of the unrevealed characters that may appear in the movie. An old tweet from director Shawn Levy has resurfaced which teases the cameo of Ruffalo’s Hulk.

Check out the tweet below!

Levy captioned the above tweet “Little did I know…” and tagged both Ruffalo and Reynolds. Interestingly, these actors played the father-son duo in Levy’s 2022 Netflix film, The Adam Project. The photo shows the actors lying on the ground near a trunk plastered with stickers, including those of Hulk and Deadpool. This has fueled speculation about a potential Hulk cameo in Levy’s upcoming movie.

Recent promotional clips of Deadpool & Wolverine have included glimpses of Hulk from previous MCU movies, like Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). It will be interesting to see if Ruffalo reprises his role as the popular, but nerfed, MCU character in the upcoming Deadpool film.

Even if we don’t see Hulk in Deadpool & Wolverine, fans deserve to get a one-on-one live-action fight between Hulk and Wolverine in the future MCU projects, given their long-standing rivalry in the comics. One of the main reasons behind their rivalry is their vastly different personas. Wolverine, a brooding loner prone to unleashing his berserker rage when provoked, clashes perfectly with the uncontrollable anger of the Hulk. These notable differences in their personas have resulted in many epic fights in the comics, and fans would love to see it translated to the big screen. Stay tuned for more updates.
