The official teaser for an upcoming thriller series on Netflix has been released. The Thai series is named ‘Delete’ and it will be a sci-fi drama/thriller.
The trailer shows that the series will revolve around a mysterious phone. Lilly, one of the main characters, meets a woman in a mall who gives her the phone and asks for a picture. She vanishes as Lilly clicks the photo. She soon realises that the phone has the ability to ‘delete’ people. She has an affair with a man engaged to somebody else. And she has a boyfriend as well. The situation gets difficult and the protagonists try to kill their respective partners. But Lilly herself gets deleted.
The trailer looks promising and if you are a fan of such sci-fi thrillers, you are going to love the show. It has a Death Note kind of vibe to it and follows a somewhat similar pattern. The music and cinematography is impressive.
The Cast has actors like Jirassaya Wongsutin, Parkpoom Wongpoom, Tossaphon Riantong and others. It is directed by Parkpoom Wongpoom, the filmmaker known for films like ‘Shutter’,’Homestay’ and ‘Phobia’. He is a known name in the world of thrillers and supernatural. It will be interesting to see what he can do to blend science fiction, crime and horror.
The show will premiere on Netflix on the 28th of June. If you are new to Thai movies and shows, this can be a great start. Watch ‘Delete’ and relive the chilling Death Note experience once again.
