The film builds tensions quite effectively and delivers several jump scares that captivates the audience. The technical aspects of the movie like cinematography, and music, have been praised to enhance the element of horror in the movie.
The movie has been rated 3.5/5 stars by the Times of India. It has been claimed as one of the most compelling sequels of the Tamil industry.
