Few months back, there was a lot of buzz regarding a particular Bollywood star venturing into the digital world. We are talking about none other than Hrithik Roshan himself, who recently made headlines for taking up the role for the Indian adaptation of limited series, “The Night Manager“. The series was made into a limited series for BBC, inspired by the book of the same name by author John le Carré. The English series was an instant hit as it was released and as fans of Hrithik Roshan, we are expecting the same from the upcoming Indian remake.
After the news of Hrithik Roshan starring as the Indian version of Jonathan Pine came in, the parts of the news followed. The series will apparently be bankrolled by Hrithik Roshan’s long time friend and Bollywood actress Preity Zinta and will supposedly stream on Disney+ Hotstar. No further news came in after that and it has been some time since we last got an update on the making of the series.
Few weeks ago, Hrithik Roshan’s brand new look was spotted and it was reported that he will be sporting the same for the upcoming series. There wasn’t much buzz about what has been going on with the series but it seems they are still finalizing the locations for the shoot. Earlier it was reported that the shoot will begin in Mumbai and as the lockdown and the pandemic situation eases, the international locations for the shoot will be discussed. That being said, the makers are preparing themselves to bring Hrithik Roshan’s first web-series to the audience, with a bang.
The buzz around the series now has gone silent. With an actor like Hrithik Roshan on board, fans were definitely expecting a bit more information on what has been going on.
Hrithik Roshan is definitely a busy man and as 2021 came in, he resumed his work for his pending projects and amongst all those, he released a news that stated that he would be starring in a new movie with Deepika Padukone.
With all these going around, it is likely that The Night Manager might have taken a backseat for now. Though, it can be a bit frustrating for his fans to not know when to expect the series, we are sure the wait will be worth it. As for the buzz regarding the series, it might have cooled down for a while, but it sure will come up, as more advancements are made.
