Devara Goes The Baahubali Way, Dharma & AA Films To Distribute In Hindi

Karan Johar has locked a deal with ‘Devara’ makers for the distribution rights of the movie in the north belt. Karan Johar’s Dharma Films and Anil Thadani’s AA Films have joined hands to distribute the first part of the movie in Hindi.

‘Devara’ is the next big movie from NTR Jr after the international success of RRR. He will be playing the lead role and Jhanhvi Kapoor will be the female lead opposite him. The movie will also star Saif Ali Khan in an important role. Devara is directed by Koratala Siva and there is much anticipation for the movie even in the Hindi-speaking areas.

It has happened previously that this strategy to distribute movies with known producers of the Hindi industry has proved to be highly profitable. Karan Johar distributed the ambitious Baahubali movies in northern states and the Hindi dub went on to be the highest grosser of the year. Similarly, KGF was produced by Excel Entertainment and the consequences were in favour of the makers.

Fans are excited as well because this news ensures that Devara will have a high scaled release in north India and that everything from dubbing to getting maximum screens will be taken care of.

Devara Part One Will hit the theaters on the 10th of October this year. Fans are excited for the release and the buzz around it ensures that it is going to be the next pan-Indian blockbuster.
