Did ‘Anand Sreebala’ Live Up To Its Expectations?

The much-awaited Malayalam movie of this week was released today on the big screens and there is an expected audience intake. How can its responses make an impact at the box office?

‘Anand Sreebala’ is a cop re-investigation thriller which is directed by Vishnu Vinay and bankrolled by Priya Venu Kunnapilly for Kavya Film Company along with Neeta Pinto for Aan Mega Media. Abhilash Pillai has penned the screenplay and dialogues for the project, based on some true events.

As per the credible responses, the movie has an engaging first half followed by a decent second half despite the nature of the investigation being conventional.

Subsequently, the screenplay is well-written and some sequences can make the audience have a hook with the narrative.

Also, conception and technical labour are fairly good throughout the movie, a notable limitation cannot be made.

Performances of actors Arjun Ashokan, Sangita Madhavan Nair, and Azees Nedumangad are brilliant and there is an unusual mother-son equation that gives a grip to the storytelling.

However, the climax and the secret unraveling portions have an unwanted stretch that could lose the suspense-building game albeit it was meant for the audience’s excitement.

The technical wing includes the cinematography by Vishnu Narayanan, editing overseen by Kiran Das, and Ranjin Raj composed the music as well as the background scores respectively.

Actors Aparna Das, Siddique, Saiju Kurup, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Malavika Manoj, Aju Varghese, Indrans, Manoj K U, Shivada, Kottayam Nazeer, Nandu, Muthumani, and Vineeth Thattil are playing important roles in the film.
