Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 is roaring at the box office. After 2 really bad years, Bollywood is back in action and there seems to be no stopping them. We already have 3 highest-grossers of the year thrice and Tiger 3 may join the race, although the chances appear to be slim.
But that is not our concern. Of course, it is Salman Khan’s film and that too of the Tiger franchise, so it has to be such an enormous success. But do you remember 3rd December 2021?
Yash Raj Films announced a series called “The Railway Men” which also happened to be their debut in the OTT world. The initial release date was announced to be 3rd December 2022. Well, that never happened but the series is just 2 days away from getting released.
But, where is the buzz? Let alone the buzz, where are the promotions?
YRF does not seem to be caring about The Railway Men. All they are doing is retweeting the posts shared by Netflix India as they fill their social media feed with Tiger and Tiger alone.
Even Netflix’s YouTube channel doesn’t have anything apart from the usual trailer updates, let alone any special promotional video. The Railway Men has immense potential to boom as a series. It can redig the long-buried questions and force us to rethink the grave catastrophe that was unleashed on the ominous night.
But, nothing seems to be happening as of now. Both YRF and Netflix seem to be sleeping.
