Digital Space Will Never Overtake Cinema HallsA choreographer, director in movies, Farah Khan, has seen great heights and popularity due to the medium. She is now venturing into production with Mrs Serial Killer, which incidentally is a film for the digital medium.

Having seen the two mediums and working on them in various capacities, when Farah Khan was asked about the impact of digital platforms, she put it in simple terms. The director of Happy New Year said that the movies will have its charm forever and that digital space will never overtake it.

People had said that same in the past that it was the end of cinemas when the Television arrived. They said the same when the Internet happened, and now, it’s the turn of the digital medium says Farah Khan firmly. The experience of watching a movie in the theatre cannot be replicated by online viewing.

Farah Khan’s Mrs Serial Killer is fast completing its shoot. The Netflix backed production stars Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead role. It is also her first stab at the digital world. Manoj Bajpayee and Mohit Raina play other vital parts. Shirish Kunder, the husband of Farah Khan, directs the film.
