Disney+ Changes Logo To Adopt Hulu!

You might remember our report where we talked about how Hulu and Disney+ will merge into Hulu. Why?

Disney+ brought the remaining shares of Hulu to make it, its own. Disney+ recently changed its logo and splash screen by adding a new colour that’s a mix of its original blue and Hulu’s green. The new colour makes Disney+ very different from usual.

Before this update, Disney+ had a deep royal blue logo that reminded people of the Cinderella castle logo. But now, it’s being replaced with a teal colour.

The updated logo also gets rid of the fancy design with Tinker Bell flying over the castle. Instead, it’s a simple white curve. While the new design looks modern, some people would definitely miss the old whimsical style. But, a change is a change whether you like it or not.

We doubt if this change in logo will remain restricted only to the visuals. We think it would also influence the way content is delivered from these platforms. The kind of content Disney+ and Hulu have been delivering so long is very different from each other. Let’s see what happens next.

Overall, Disney’s logo change is precisely due to the company’s new change through adapting Hulu. By mixing its old look with Hulu’s style, Disney+ indicates unity with its cousin.
