Disney Plus has just dropped the first teaser and release date for its upcoming new Korean drama, titled ‘The Impossible Heir’. The series is alternatively known as ‘Royal Loader’ or ‘Royal Roader’, as per several Korean entertainment social media handles. K-drama ‘The Impossible Heir’ premieres on Disney Plus worldwide on 28th February, 2024, and on Disney Plus Hotstar in India. The series will also release simultaneously on Hulu in the US.
The first teaser for ‘The Impossible Heir’ gives hint of an exciting business drama, set in the backdrop of the world of the powerful rich and famous of South Korea. Kang In Ha is an ambitious man from the lower rungs of society and is ravenous for success. When he discovers that he is the illegitimate son of the owner of the powerful business conglomerate Kang Oh Group, he hatches a plan with his equally ambitious and intelligent friend Han Tae Oh to take control of the conglomerate. As they begin their rise to the top, they face an unlikely adversary in Na Hye-won, a ruthless and ambitious young lady who wants her share of the pie.
Popular Korean actor Lee Jae-wook (Alchemy of Souls, Death’s Game) stars as Han Tae-oh in The Impossible Heir. Lee Jun-young (D.P., Mask Girl, Badland Hunters) plays Kang In-ha. Finally, Hong Su-zu (Sweet Home 2) stars as Na Hye-won in the thrilling series. The Impossible Heir is directed by Min Yeon-hong (Missing: The Other Side, Insider).
