Disney+ Hotstar Drops Edgy First Look Poster For Saif Ali Khan In Bhoot Police

Earlier this year, when the covid-19’s second wave started getting stronger, the government was forced to begin the lockdown once again. This meant the closure of cinema halls too, that being said, few movie releases started moving towards OTT releases. Disney+ Hotstar probably was one of those streaming platforms that got the rights to a few pretty good movies. All these movies released on Disney+ Hotstar were some that were highly anticipated.

Out of those movies is, Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor starrer “Bhoot Police”. The movie was amongst the many that lined up for a digital release on Disney+ Hotstar’s movie releasing feature Disney+ Hotstar Multiplex. Disney+ Hotstar now released a first look for the movie and especially Saif Ali Khan, who apparently is named “Vibhooti” in the movie.

The movie poster shows Saif Ali Khan in a rather edgy look, with a leather jacket and kohl-filled eyes, he definitely looks like he is out there to get someone. Besides that, he is shown holding a wooden “rake” which is adorned with various “godly” threads. This probably seems like the weapon he uses to go after the “bhoot” in the movie. The movie besides Arjun Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan has an ensemble cast starring Yami Gautam, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Jaaved Jaaferi.

The movie is directed by Pavan Kirpalani and co-produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri. The movie is also co-produced by Jaya Taurani. As for the release dates, there is nothing attached to it at the moment. But, if makers are to be believed, the movie might release sometime in September or early October.

The movie was scheduled for theatrical release earlier this year but as the Covid situation got worse and a good deal in hand, the producers thought of moving towards an OTT release. Also, since no one in the team had any objection to the movie going for an OTT release, it made it easier for the creators.

As for the story or the plot of the movie, nothing as of yet has been revealed but given the name, one can assume that the movie is about menacing ghosts and the ones catching them. This definitely gives off the vibes of desi “Ghostbusters” but definitely more fun.
