Black Widow has been undoubtedly one movie from Marvel that had people desperately waiting for it. The movie was supposed to release last year, but evidently, Covid-19 pandemic-induced lockdown brought all plans to a standstill. Black Widow, supposedly should have been the last movie where Natasha Romanoff appears as Black Widow. The movie saw its release in American theatres on the 9th of July and also saw a simultaneous release of Disney+. Indian fans though were exempted from having this fun on that very day. But, right now we have one brilliant piece of news that will brighten your day up.
Disney+ Hotstar has now announced the movie is releasing on the streaming platform on September 3rd. Now, that is way quicker than expected. Today, Disney+ Hotstar has been teasing fans with tweets that mentioned several dates one after the other. But, now it has been officially announced that Black Widow will be officially released on the 3rd of September. This is almost a month sooner than expected, as many thought Indian fans would be able to witness it only in the month of October.
But, this release was much needed. As soon as the movie dropped in theatres and Disney+ in the U.S., there were an immense amount of sites and links being uploaded that allowed people to watch and download the pirated version of Black Widow. To curb this issue, within a few days of the American release, Disney+ Hotstar announced the release of the movie. If it would have been in October, the announcement definitely wouldn’t have come up in July, right after the release itself.
But, that’s for the best maybe. Now, fans don’t have to wait any longer and we are almost 11 days away from witnessing the power of Black Widow being unleashed in her solo movie. Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh in the lead, along with David Harbour, Rachel Weisz in major supporting roles. The movie takes place after the events of Captain America: Civil War and before Avengers: Infinity War. The movie will be available to Indian fans in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
So, the wait is over people. We finally have an official date for Black Widow releasing in India.
