Disney Plus Hotstar has finally revealed the release date for its buzzy new series ‘Label’. The Tamil series ‘Label’ will premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar on 10th November, 2023.
Tamil series ‘Label’ is a political and legal drama, which is reportedly centred around Article 20 of the Indian Constitution. The series is written and directed by Arunraja Kamaraj, who’s earlier directed Nenjuku Needhi, the Tamil remake of Article 15. ‘Label’ depicts the struggle of the protagonist (played by actor Jai) to overcome the identity society has labelled him with, and forge his own identity in society.
Besides Jai, ‘Label’ stars actors Tanya Hope and Mahendran in pivotal roles, along with Harishankar Narayanan, Charan Raj, Sriman, Ilavarasu, Suresh Chakravarthy, among others, in supporting roles.
Director Arunraja Kamaraj has enjoyed an impressive career as a lyricist and actor. He’s written lyrics for films such as Jigarthanda and Kabali. He turned director with the well-received film, Kanaa.
‘Label’ is produced by AJ Prabhakaran, in association with Arunraja Kamaraj’s production banner ARK Entertainment. The music of the series is composed by Sam C.S
