OTT giant Disney+ Hotstar has some exciting films and shows lined up for streaming during the first half on the month of March 2022. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top titles streaming on Disney+ Hotstar during March first half. So, here we go.
West Side Story (Streaming from 2nd March)
Steven Spielberg’s romantic musical drama ‘West Side Story’ is a film adaptation of the 1957 stage musical of the same name. Set in 1957 New York City, the film showcases a classic tale of fierce rivalries between two street gangs namely Jets and Sharks which is fuelled by a love story between two youngsters – ex-brawler Tony and Maria.
Rudra: The Edge of Darkness (Streaming from 4th March)
Based on the British show ‘Luther’ starring Idris Alba, ‘Rudra: The Edge of Darkness’ features Ajay Devgn as a Mumbai-based no-nonsense, hardened cop DCP Rudraveer Singh. Each episode of the show would feature the brilliant cop’s daredevil missions to nab mastermind criminals. During his dangerous pursuits, the super-cop forms a bizarre relationship with a genius psychopath.
Maaran (Streaming from 11th March)
Helmed by Karthick Naren (Director – Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru), the action thriller movie features Dhanush as an upright investigative journalist who lands in the soup after publishing a piece that uncovers uncomfortable truths about an unscrupulous politician. The film also features Malavika Mohanan as Dhanush’s co-worker and romantic interest.
Turning Red (Streaming from 11th March)
Set in early 2000s period, the animated comedy adventure film revolves around a 13-year-old girl Mei Lee (voiced by Rosalie Chiang), who resides in Toronto with her stern and overly protective mother Ming (voiced by Sandra Oh). Her life takes an interesting turn when one day, she suddenly learns that she transforms into a red giant panda whenever she is running high on emotions.
