“A Teacher” is in store from Disney+ Hotstar, to be released on the 11th of November. It will be a drama mini series, to be aired on FX in the US and streamed online on Hotstar in India. The story just like it’s title follows the journey of a teacher in a span of time that makes her world go upside down.
Claire, a Texas High school teacher is very popular among her students and loved by all. Unhappy and struggling in her marriage with her one “true love”, she starts to get attracted towards a certain student from her English class, who is the highschool football captain and a rather popular kid in his school and his circle. With charming teenage boy looks and pretty eyes, Eric makes his teacher fall for him. An illegal intimate relationship starts amongst them
Here on his house front Eric, the young teenage kid is struggling with his emotions, his younger siblings, college applications and most definitely school work. Eric and Claire find their escape from reality amongst each other and while they are lost in each other. Things get worse when the relationship between Claire and Eric is disclosed out in the open. The relationship immediately garners attention from locals, friends and families alike and things start to fall apart. The aftermath of this relationship takes a lot away from them and it will be a journey to look out for.
Kate Maara, Eric Robinson, Shane Harper, Ashely Zukerman play significant roles with and amazing supporting cast. The miniseries is supposed to release 3 episodes on the first day of its release and 1 episode after the release.
