Disney+ Hotstar is back with yet another daily soap style drama titled ‘Gunaah’. The streamer has dropped a new teaser for the show and it gives those typical serial vibes that is definitely not so appealing on OTT.
‘Gunaah’ teaser talks about a 32 year old man Abhimanyu Nayak who has a net worth of ₹300 crore. He has no criminal records, no one knows anything about his family or where he comes from but what’s most mysterious is no one knows what are his intentions. The teaser also gives glimpses of a casino. We also Surbhi Jyoti, the female of the show towards the end of the teaser.
‘Gunaah’, stars Gashmeet Mahajani and Surbhi Jyoti in the lead roles with Darshan Pandya and Zayn Ibad Khan also starring. The show is produced by Bodhitree Multimedia Private Limited that is known for making Netflix’s ’Class’. ‘Gunaah’ will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from 3rd June, 2024.
After the launch of multiple seasons of its previous such show ‘Aashiqana’, Disney+ Hotstar is set to bring back another daily soap drama. More than one season does indicate that this style of show has a separate audience base and the streamer seems to target the same with this latest show ‘Gunaah’. The only thing is that these shows are much better suited for television than OTT.
