Disney+ Hotstar’s OK Computer is a sci-fi show which is set in a futuristic society where technology has made our life very simple and comfortable however things take an ugly turn when a self-driving taxi is hacked and ordered to kill a human.
We have come a long way in terms of technology and like most things it has its good as well as bad sides. When was the last time we actually took proper care of our gadgets whether it was the remote that faced the wrath of our hands because it wasn’t functioning or the mobile phone that is treated as an expendable thing after a couple of years.
The year is 2031 and both the leads are busy combing through the modern state of goa for their perpetrator. Vijay Varma plays the role of cyber-crime detective Saajan Kundu and Radhika Apte plays the role of an AI Scientist. Jackie Shroff and Rasika Dugal will also play important roles in Disney+ Hotstar’s ‘OK Computer’. The series is directed by Neil Pagedar and Pooja Shetty.
The OTT platforms have created an ecosystem where one can experiment with their content and the fact that platforms are trying out shows with such unique themes like that of ‘OK Computer’ is a good sign.
