“The Perfect Husband” is one of the next upcoming OTT films releasing on Disney+ Hotstar. It is amongst the upcoming releases for Tamil OTT releases of web series and films. The film has already garnered a lot of attention as veteran actor Sathyaraj will be making his digital OTT debut with this movie. The movie is being directed by Thamira and portrays another veteran actress Seetha.
The show will be a family drama focusing on a family where Sathyaraj and Seetha will be seen as husband and wife. The movie also has Rakshan, Raghvi and Aajeedh Khalique in leading roles besides the two veteran actors. Everyone in the movie will be shown as the part of a hip and happening family. The story is not quite out yet but the basic plot has been released.
The movie follows the lives of the members of a family and their day to day struggles. A twist of turn in the story and all of them are shown facing a grave issue. As the movie proceeds, differences start arising between the family members and the family isn’t as happy as it seemed like. The plot focuses on how they come out of the trouble and in what state does the family end up in terms of their relations.
The movie is supposed to be heart touching and filled with fun family bonds that will remind one of their own families. The movie shows the struggle of how one’s issue is not just their issue, but the entire family’s. The movie is supposed to show the ties and to what lengths one’s family can go for someone.
For the movie, several auditions were held around the country to source out the best actors for the roles in the movie. This will be one interesting film to watch, as it is not always that one sees Kattappa (played by Sathyaraj) be a happy go lucky family guy.
