Disney Is Extending Pirates Of The Caribbean Series Without Depp

Currently, all eyes are on the ongoing case between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard. While the public opinion is on Depp’s side, the actor has already suffered a lot professionally.

He is one of the biggest movie stars and a big credit goes to Disney’s “Pirates Of The Caribbean” for that. Even after so many years of the film’s release, it is tough for people to accept anyone else but Johnny Depp in the lead.

But recently in an interview with Sunday Times, the producer Jerry Bruckheimer revealed some important yet heartbreaking details.

Disney is making two movies on Pirates Of the Caribbean one will star Birds Of Prey star Margot Robbie in the lead role. The other movie however will not be having Margot Robbie and there is no information about the leading actor/actress in the same.

When asked about the possible return of Johnny Depp, he said, “Not at this point. The future is yet to be decided.”

So it is completely clear that Johnny Depp is not returning to portray his epic character at least in the near future. But yet again, the ravens fly upon Disney because people will find it hard to accept Pirates Of The Caribbean without Johnny Depp.
