We had reported yesterday that the premiere of Sushmita Sen’s comeback vehicle cum web debut Aarya has been delayed owing to the Coronavirus shutdown in the entertainment industry. As if on cue, Disney Plus Hotstar, which is the streaming platform for Aarya, released an intriguing teaser video for the upcoming web series.
Disney Plus Hotstar released the teaser on its official social media handles, which was then shared by Sushmita Sen on her own social media.
Aarya is a crime and action thriller, which is also pretty obvious from the teaser shared last evening by Disney Plus Hotstar. In it, Sushmita Sen can be seen performing an intensive workout, as if preparing for a decisive and climacteric event in her life. The routine she does seems quite rigorous, and she pulls it off with élan.
Along with the video, Sushmita Sen also announced to her fans, the chance to appear with her live on Instagram. All that they have to do is guess what Aarya is about, and the closest answer is the winner of the prize. Not much is known about Aarya, except that it is a crime drama set in Rajasthan, and is directed by Ram Madhvani. Also, it is supposedly based on the Dutch drama series Penoza by Pieter Bart Korthuis. There was some speculation earlier about the leading man of Aarya, with several names being bandied about, but there was no confirmation or reveal by the platform.
