Production for the highly anticipated Disney+ superhero series ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is underway in full swing and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make the show a top-notch and enjoyable experience for Marvel fans. Previously, it was revealed that Michael Cuesta, who had directed shows like ‘Dexter’, ‘Six Feet Under’, and ‘Homeland’, would serve as one of the directors of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’. In fact, he has reportedly directed the show’s opening episode.

And now, as per the latest update, the creators of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ have roped in another ‘Homeland’ alumnus Jeffrey Nachmanoff. Earlier, he has also gone behind the camera for the horror drama series ‘Lovecraft Country’, amongst other shows. Besides, Jeffrey Nachmanoff has also directed feature films including Don Cheadle’s spy thriller ‘Traitor’ and Keanu Reeves starrer sci-fi thriller flick ‘Replicas’. Jeffrey Nachmanoff will direct at least one episode of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’.

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will be set under the ambit of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the first season will consist of eighteen episodes. After making brief appearances in the superhit film ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ and ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’ miniseries, Charlie Cox will reprise his role as the blind lawyer and masked vigilante Matt Murdock aka Daredevil in the upcoming web series ‘Daredevil: Born Again’.

Besides Charlie Cox playing the titular role, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will also feature the formidable antagonist Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin (played by Vincent D’Onofrio) and the popular antihero Frank Castle aka Punisher (played by Joe Bernthal).

The filming schedule for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ commenced in March and is expected to conclude later this year in November. The show will start streaming on the Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar OTT platforms sometime in the first half of 2024.
