Disney+ and Marvel’s upcoming series “She-Hulk” has been in the news quite frequently, lately. After all the series that Marvel has released this year, She Hulk for sure is the most in demand show now. Recently, She-Hulk was in the news for introducing and bringing on She-Hulk’s arch nemesis onto the show, which only guarantees that this will be on show to look out for. Now, rumours are ripe that She-Hulk will be introducing another very important character into the MCU timeline.
Reports are coming in at the moment that She-Hulk might actually be introducing a very important family member from the Hulk family itself. The show already has Jennifer Walters, who is the She-Hulk and Bruce Banner, he is the Hulk himself, who else could it be? Well, the news mentions that Marvel might be introducing Hulk’s son Skaar into the show at some point. Yes, Hulk’s son who according to the timeline was conceived on the planet Sakaar.
This could have happened while Hulk was spending his time in Sakaar during the “Thor: Ragnorok” period. The events reportedly are way before than Avengers Endgame as well as Infinity War. According to the comics Skaar is the son of Hulk and a Sakaaran, Caiera, the Oldstrong. In the comics, it shows that his mother abandons him and he comes to earth to take revenge from his father. Later, it is revealed that they both end up having a really good father-son relationship. Skaar first appeared in Marvel’s mega popular comic “Planet Hulk”.
As for Marvel and Disney+, none of them has yet confirmed the news about Skaar’s appearance and no actor is yet attached to the role for now. If Skaar is introduced in Marvel, he might as well join the gang of ”Young Avengers”, which we are expecting Marvel to give us some hint soon. But besides, Skaar, the show is almost getting full with the characters. Recently Jameela Jamil has been introduced as She-Hulk’s rival Titania. Besides, Abomination will make a comeback after his stint in “The Incredible Hulk”, and we already have Jennifer Walters and Bruce Banner as the Hulks.
The actors now involved in the show are Jameela Jamil, Tim Roth, Mark Ruffalo, Tatiana Maslany, Ginger Gonzaga and Renée Elise Goldsberry. The show is having 10 half an hour long episodes and is being directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia. The show will be presented as a comedy legal drama, as we all know Jennifer is a lawyer in the show as well as She-Hulk.
So, now given the circumstances, if Skaar appears in the show, which seems like a possibility will be his first live action entry. With Skaar, his aunt and his father The Incredible Hulk, it might now end up becoming a very interesting superhero family drama.
