Disney+ has unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming musical romance K-Drama series Soundtrack#1 today.
Soundtrack#1 centres around longtime friends and music lovers played by Han So-hee (My Name) and Park Hyung-sik (Happiness) who decide to live together for two weeks due to circumstances. The line between friendship, partnership and love start blurring as they spend more time together.
The new trailer opens to Eun-Soo (played by Han So-hee) saying “Come to my house and be my assistant,” over a meal to her best-friend Sun-woo (played by Park Hyung-sik). He retorts with a smile, obviously rejecting her idea but turns up at Eun-soo’s home in the next scene.
“Welcome, my assistant,” she responds. The couple shares lovey-dovey looks, their hands brush one another and also get jealous as they see each other with colleagues of opposite sex evidently hinting at changing equations between the two. “Sun-woo? Not him. If we want to be together like we are now for the rest of our lives, we have to stay friends forever,” says a frustates Eun-soo to a friend.
Eun-soo is a lively and straightforward lyricist who by the time the drama begins have already made her debut. Meanwhile, Park’s Han Sun-woo is a quiet photographer with a caring personality.
From all the promotional materials,teasers and trailers dropped so far, Soundtrack#1 looks like another hit under Disney+ kitty after Snowdrop and Rookie Cops. Since the show is a musical romance, K-Drama land is equally excited for an new out of the world soundtrack including tracks from SUPER JUNIOR’s Kyuhyun, ex-Wanna One member Kim Jae-hwan and NCT’s Doyoung. The show which is one amongst Disney+ 12 Korean Originals slated for 2022, is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on March 23,2022.
