Disney+’s Daredevil To Start Filming Soon! Show To Release In 2024

As per media reports, the Disney+ Series on Daredevil will start filming from February in 2023 in New York and it is slated to release in early 2024.

Daredevil tells the story of Matt Murdock who is a witty and brilliant lawyer who is blind but his other senses are very sharp, elevating him to the level of a superhero. He plays a masked vigilante who fights crime at the night time. His friend and colleague Foggy Nelson helps with his job and the fierce villain ‘Kingpin’ is the criminal mastermind of the city who is determined to destroy Daredevil.

The new Daredevil under the banner of Disney+ will be darker than the previous three seasons but will not probably be gory according to Charlie Cox.

The Netflix series ‘Daredevil‘ and other shows related to it like ‘Jessica Jones’, ‘Punisher’, ‘The Defenders’ were not a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and they were made before the arrival of Disney+. Kevin Feige now plans to add Daredevil to the MCU.

Daredevil already made a screen presence in the blockbuster ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ and the Disney+ series ‘She-Hulk: Attorney At Law’. Charlie Cox’s cameos in both the film and the show were loved by fans, and it was a quite positive point for the success of ‘She-Hulk’. So, now he will be returning with a whole new show.

The future of Daredevil in the MCU depends highly on the success of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ because it has a massive 18 episode plan. The 3 seasons of Netflix’s Daredevil had 13 episodes each. No Disney+ show from Marvel has more than 9 episodes. The shooting will continue for the whole next year and the show will most probably be out by 2024.
