Mirzapur fame, Divyenndu aka Munna Bhaiya, is secretly working with Imtiaz Ali’s production house. He is reported to have an important supporting character in Ali’s upcoming project. Alongside Divyenndu, we will see the multi-talented Gajraj Rao in the film as well.
Reportedly, the duo of Divyenndu and Gajraj Rao started working on this project right after the removal of COVID-19 restrictions. Imtiaz saw a perfect opportunity to work on his new project. When the cases of the second Coronavirus wave reduced, he roped these two acting talents for his project.
The production work of Ali’s forthcoming project is still going on. He has not mentioned its official release date. But it is expected to hit the theatres next year.
Both actors will play low-level workers in the movie. They reside in a small town in India. Their characters are way different from each other. But both will have numerous layers of emotions and behaviour, giving them a perfect chance to display their wide range of acting skills.
Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal, Highway, Tamasha, and Rockstar are the best works in Imtiaz Ali’s career as a director. Divyenndu made his debut with the first entry of Pyaar Ka Punchnama. And Gajraj Rao had to wait for more than 24 years to bag his first Filmfare Award since his debut in Bandit Queen in 1994.
