The show is funny and hilarious and if you are looking for a miniseries with very few episodes to watch, you should watch it now.
‘Gora’ is a Hoichoi original and stars Ritwick Chakroborty in the leading role. The first season premiered in January of 2022 and was accepted by audiences with huge love. It was written and directed by Sayantan Ghosal and had eight episodes in total. The second season came out one year later.
Ritwick plays the role of a ‘defective’ detective who does not stay in the realm of reality for much time. Gourab Sen or Gora is helped by an assistant whose main motive is to marry Gora’s sister. He is not consulted for many cases for the sole reason that he is forgetful and very weird. But Gora has a sharp mind and he solves his cases with accuracy. One day, he is consulted to solve the case of a very heinous crime: a murder. And all his well-wishers think this is a good time to reclaim his fame as a detective.
The performances are beautiful and Ritwick is awesome as always. It will not be an exaggeration to say that Ritwick Chakroborty is one of the best actors of the Bengali film industry of all time.
