Today, we recommend you watch a relatively unknown movie titled ‘Confess, Fletch’, which came out last year and which you can stream on the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform. ‘Confess, Fletch’ is a crime comedy movie which is based on Gregory McDonald’s 1976 novel of the same name. The film features Jon Hamm (Mad Men, Baby Driver) in the titular role of a charming man named Fletch, who somehow becomes the main suspect in a murder case while searching for a stolen art collection. Now, Fletch must prove his innocence and clear his name by finding the main culprit out of a long list of suspects which includes an art dealer, a missing playboy, a crazy neighbor and his Italian girlfriend.
The movie was directed by Greg Mottola, who had previously directed films including the teen comedy flick ‘Superbad’, and the comedy drama movie ‘Adventureland’, amongst others.
‘Confess, Fletch’ has received an impressive critics’ score of 86% and is ‘Certified Fresh’ on reviews aggregation portal Rotten Tomatoes. On the same website, the film received a decent, albeit a slightly lower, audience score of 75%.
