Indian film enthusiasts have been patiently waiting to watch Olivia Wilde’s much-talked-about horror thriller ‘Don’t Worry Darling‘. The film did not release in Indian theatres, and streaming is their only hope to watch the Harry Styles and Florence Pugh starrer. Well, now the wait is over, coz ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ is finally streaming on Indian OTT platforms, albeit in the pay per view mode.
‘Don’t Worry Darling’ began streaming this morning on multiple Indian pay per view platforms. It is available to stream on BookMyShow, Prime Video Rental Store, Google Movies and YouTube, for a one-time rent of ₹499. The rental cost is quite steep, no doubt. But die-hard film buffs might still avail the film on rent. It is certain that ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ will take at least a month or two before it is available to stream in the normal subscription based video-on-demand.
The premise of ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ is highly intriguing. The film is set in the 1950s. Harry Styles and Florence Pugh play a young couple who come to live in the idyllic experimental township named Victory. The men work on a top secret project, while the women enjoy the extravagant perks of a lavish life. But soon, she comes to realise that there’s a sinister secret to the goings-on in the seemingly perfect paradise.
‘Don’t Worry Darling’ did not receive very high ratings from critics or audiences. But just for the unique premise and the interesting pairing of Harry Styles and Florence Pugh, it deserves a one-time watch.
